Modeling Ka-Band Satellite Communication System with MPSK

摘要
In Ka-band mobile satellite communication system, weather, shadowing and multipath effect are the main causes of signal fading. Statistical characteristics of Ka-band mobile satellite communication system were described and a relevant comprehensive model was built up in this paper. Then, BER performances of MPSK modulation scheme in Ka-band mobile satellite communication channel were presented. Noise immunity was improved by matched filter receiving system. All these are the base of Ka-band satellite communication link analysis and adaptive modulation scheme selection.
