Characteristics of piezoelectric fans using PZT ceramics

摘要
In this paper, piezoelectric eel-antics were manufactured by sintering process for 90 minutes at 1300 degrees C with lead zirconate titanate (PZT-5) raw-material and various kinds of piezoelectric fans were fabricated for application to a component cooling apparatus connected with AC 110 and 220 V,60 Hz sources. Resonance frequency of the vibrating plate was decreased with the increase of the plate length(1) under a constant piezoelectric ceramic length(L). The displacement and wind velocity of time S5-p sample, parallel type fan(1=28.6 mm) have the maximum values 34.7mm and 3 m/s each at AC 110V and 60 Hz, and decrease as the vibrating plate length(L) increases. the experiments on S12-s sample of series-type fan (1=31.8mm) showed the highest values of displacement and wind velocity, 35.5 nmm and 3.1m/s, respectively at AC 220V 60Hz.
