摘要：

The drafting force is an important factor in roller drafting. In this study, a new apparatus was designed and constructed on drafting frame to measure the dynamic force during roller drafting. The on-line measuring device was mainly composed of two weighting sensors, digital measurement controller and computer. Viscose rayon fibers were used in the experiments, the relation between drafting force and drafted sliver evenness was investigated on the basis of the measurements. The measuring results of this apparatus matched well with those of draftometers and it was more closed to practical application.
