摘要
Long-term and remote tracking of vital signs is nowadays a well-established method of controlling a health status of patients or athletes. In general, portable monitoring gadgets consists of two essentials: sensors and data acquisition device. Sensor, in fact is a human-machine interface, that determines the signal quality. Holter, as a standard tool used for hearth activity monitoring utilizes the disposable Ag/AgCl electrodes. Their provide very good performance parameters but only for short period of time. In this work, we propose novel type of dry, textile electrodes for physiological signal sensing that can represent an alternative to gelled electrodes. Preliminary results of ECG measurements show that after further improvements they can be good candidates to implemented in smart garment for real applications.
