摘要
Perovskites, a very important inorganic crystal class with the general formula of ABX(3), play a very important role in today's technological advances. Thanks to the large range of pseudosymmetrically related crystal structures, perovskites can be found in practically every application: passive dielectric materials, piezoelectric transducers used in radars, sensors, and micro/nano electro-mechanical systems (M/NEMS), catalyst for producing clean energy, radioactive waste storage, and many more. Most, if not all, of these applications are also greatly dependant on the finite size of the material. As the finite size decreases, the proportion of materials residing at the surface is significantly increased, quantum effects kick in, and the effect of boundaries-such as domain wall boundaries in ferro/piezoelectric crystals-can no longer be neglected as they were in the bulk materials. This review paper will touch on the behaviour of one-dimensional perovskite nanostructures, their properties, and the different fabrication approaches to achieve such structures.
