This paper evaluates the possibilities of educational integration of web 2.0 services for the creation and consumption of music in Music classrooms of Secondary Education, analyzing what services and tools offer better possibilities to facilitate innovative strategies for musical learning. To do this: a) An extensive literature review of documentary sources related to the didactic potentialities of collaborative musical creation on the web was carried out; b) A corpus of services of musical creation and consumption on web 2.0 was developed; and c) A sample of these was analyzed to determine their specific characteristics and educational applications. The results show the opportunity of these services to improve the engagement and music readiness of students, stimulating musical creative processes, the development of the specific skills of composition and analysis and to improve critical and reflective thinking about the musical creative process and also about the musical product.
