摘要
Epstein-Barr virus(EBV) is considered to be a carcinogenic virus for nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC). Thirty-three patients with NPCs were classified histologically into 7 moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinomas (MDSCC), 10 poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinomas (PDSCC), and 16 undifferentiated carcinomas(UC) By means of in situ hybridization(ISH) with EBER1 and in situ PCR, EBV was positive in 3 of 7 MDSCCs, 9 of 10 PDSCCs, and 15 of 16 UCs. ISH and in situ PCR techniques are useful for detecting EBV infection in NPCs.
