摘要
The integration of distributed photovoltaic presents several advantages as well as certain disadvantages. To safely connecting PV installations into a given distribution network and maximize their benefits, it is necessary to assess their impact on that particular network. The maximum PV power that can be integrated into an electrical system without causing grid problems is defined as PV hosting capacity. This notion has been discussed in several research papers where various models to quantify it have been investigated. In this paper, a comparison of different mathematical models is performed. Then, the application of these models was performed on a medium voltage feeder of Morocco. The results of this present work show that the hosting capacity doesn't have a standard model, each single model depends on the limiting factors, assumptions, and grid parameters. This results in an over or underestimation of the hosting capacity of the studied feeder.
