摘要：

It was attempted to elucidate the relation of functional impairments and typical symptoms of apraxia of speech by means of a computer-implemented neural model of speech production. To this end, the failure of distinct neural associations or of distinct functional modules was simulated and the resulting speech errors were observed. In summary, we were capable of simulating a variety of typical symptoms of apraxia of speech.
