Examination of the degree of alignment in sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets by measurements of the remanent polarizations

摘要
A new method for the calculation of the average angle of misorientation, phi, and for the saturation polarization, J(S), for rare earth permanent magnets is presented. According to this method, phi and J(S) can be derived from the measurements of the remanent polarizations, parallel and perpendicular to the easy axis of the magnetization, J(r) or J(r perpendicular to), respectively. The results are in good agreement with the evaluation of J(S) obtained by measurements in a vibrating sample magnetometer.
