摘要
This study was conducted to determine the most preferred digital pedagogical tools for the teaching and learning process for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) lecturers in Malaysia and Indonesia. The digital pedagogical tools were gauged in the teaching and learning process in the context of teaching delivery, communication, collaboration, and assessment. A survey study was conducted to 129 lecturers using a questionnaire, involved TVET lecturers from the two universities. A questionnaire consisted of several parts: Part A comprises 5 items relating to demographic information such as gender and type of courses. Part B content with 67 items to gauge digital pedagogy tools. Items were designed within several main constructs of the teaching and learning process including delivery, communication, collaboration, and assessment. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics with frequency, mean score, and standard deviation. The results indicated that lecturers in both countries have similarities in the digital pedagogical tools usage especially in communication, collaboration, and assessment. However, content delivery indicated a bit different in their preferences, where Malaysian lecturers mostly preferred using document management tools while Indonesian lecturers mostly prefeed using Learning Management System (LMS) provided by the university. The implication is that both universities expedite the session for sharing experience and knowledge on digital learning, as well as lecturer exchange and mobility to improve the application of the current technology in the TVET teaching and learning process
