摘要
The effective stress and drying response in double porosity compacted soils are investigated. Results from suction controlled oedometric drying tests under different net stresses are presented. The validity of the effective stress principle in double porosity media is explored, and it is shown that quantitative predictions of volume change in unsaturated aggregated soils can be made using the effective stress principle.
