摘要
Cold air distribution system using ice thermal storage is characterized by its capability to easily create a low humidity environment. Cold air distribution system concurrently using a fluctuating breeze creates the feeling of coolness by actively generating airflow over the human body under a low humidity environment. However, to prevent the airflow from becoming too cold, the airflow is set as an intermittent breeze within a range in which the human body does not feel uncomfortable. This makes it possible to set the room temperature at a higher level, producing energy savings while creating a comfortable environment. We made a trial model of a sensor that simulates the heat loss of the human body with the capability to sense the fluctuating breeze and we studied the results obtained from the model. To understand the influence of this air conditioning system on the thermal sensation and productivity we conducted experiments using test subjects.
