摘要：

It was revealed that the CaCO3 reagent (analytical grade) is described by the formula CaCO3 0.17H(2)O after 6 h drying in air at 200 degreesC. The evolution of H2O converts the calcite from a van Vleck paramagnetic to a diamagnetism.
