摘要
The solubility of hydrogen in Ti-60 alloy obeys the Sivert's Law and the Arrhenius relationship. The heat of dissolution of hydrogen in this alloy is found to be 42.3 kJ/mol. The experimental results also show that the alpha+beta -> beta transformation temperature and high temperature yield strength of Ti-60 alloy are continuously decreased with increasing hydrogen contents. The minimum yield strength of the alloy at high temperature occurs at the hydrogen concentration corresponding to the alpha+beta -> beta transition and further increase in yield strength is due to the hardening effect of hydrogen addition on the P phase. Tensile at 900 degrees C will make the yield strength reduce about 70% for the alloy containing 0.3% of hydrogen. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
