摘要
Norovirus is the leading cause of infection-associated acute gastroenteritis. To understand the evolutionary trends of NoVs that contribute to predicting the genotype of future outbreaks, we reviewed articles on the genogroups of NoVs that outbrokeglobally during the epidemic seasons from 2009 to 2013. The study results demonstrated that Sydney 2012, an emergent GII.4 variant, predominated during the period. Molecular epidemiology showed that domain P2 was characteristic of Sydney 2012.
