摘要：

A program has been developed to construct Brillouin zones for various crystal structures. It requires as input from diffraction patterns only the identification of planes with small indices and large structure factor values. When the first zone is completed, larger zones are considered. The volume of Brillouin zone is calculated. This program allows one to consider Brillouin zones in relation to the Fermi sphere, an especially important consideration for metallic phases. ZONE can be used for analyzing some of physical properties of crystalline solids.
