摘要
This paper is devoted to the problems of integration of scientific information resources in the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and information support of scientific research in Russia. The needs and aims of establishing the RAS scientific information space are considered. An analysis of requirements to such distributed information systems is given, and the approach of Integrated System of Information Resources (ISIR) is discussed. We explain the application of corresponding ISIR solutions for RAS needs, and briefly outline the metadata profile for scientific information in ISIR RAS. Further the paper considers the architectural principles of ISIR solutions, in particular the application of Semantic Web technologies, and the multilayer approach. We briefly discuss ISIR developer's toolkit and the development of information systems and Web portals with ISIR solutions. Architectural details of several fundamental ISIR building blocks are described. In conclusion we give a survey of present ISIR applications and current developments.
