摘要
Molecular imaging is indispensable in the era of precision medicine. It visualizes tumor biology and can stratify responders to nonresponders for subsequent PRRT. In that manner, the emphasis on PC is to identify clinically significant cancers from indolent disease. The heterogeneity of GRPR and PSMA expression in primary and met-astatic PC has been shown in multiple studies. More prospective trials with larger cohorts using GRPR antagonists are needed, especially in com-parison to the currently most widely used 68Ga-PSMA11, to better understand their relationship and potential predictive value of tumor biology and aggressiveness in different types and stages of PC. However, we also need to shed light on how standard of care treatments can impact re-ceptor expression and conversely whether an in-crease or decrease of receptor expression can be induced by certain treatments. This could shift the susceptibility of PRRT.
