摘要
The question of preparing the graduate for the future profession and increasing its employability is a very important attribute for the education system. Knowledge of the competences required from graduates on the labour market is one of the ways to make their education more effective. The aim of the article is to determine differences in the perspective of HR professionals and college graduates on the key criteria involved in gaining employment. The article is based on structured interviews with human resources (qualitative research) and questionnaire survey (quantitative research). The target group of the research was the graduates who live in the Pilsen region (Czech Republic) and have successfully completed the Bachelors degree program in the period 2012-2016. This sample includes 272 respondents. The results are presented according to the gender, practical experience of the graduate and others. The presented research results are compared with the results of similar research carried out in the Czech Republic.
