摘要
Megabythinus spinitibialis gen. et sp. nov. is described from Burmese amber and placed as a stem-group member of the tribe Bythinini. It shares with Boreotethys Parker the second tarsomeres shorter than third tarsomeres, but can be readily separated by the much larger body size, elongate antennomeres, and presence of two asymmetric pretarsal claws.
