摘要：

The Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm (AFSA) is a new heuristic intelligent optimization algorithm proposed in recent years. First, the optimizing process and performance of the AFSA are studied, and some improvements are proposed, then some applications of the AFSA are explored by obtaining the optimal threshold of wavelet de-noising, by designing digital filter with the frequency sampling method and by network routing optimization. In the end, a summary of the AFSA is given.
