摘要
In this paper, the effects of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) static eccentricity faults on the air gap flux density, flux linkage, electromotive forces (EMFs) and electromagnetic torque (EM torque) have been presented. A 2D finite element method (FEM) is needed for PMSM modeling under healthy and faulty conditions. The achieved simulation results under different static eccentricity severities show how eccentricity affect the performance of the studied motor.
