摘要：

Recent discoveries in molecular medicine, coupled with advances in biotechnology and medicinal chemistry, have led to enormous progress in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with thyroid cancer. We have no doubt that this progress will continue with the development of more effective therapies that are based on new compounds with greater specificity for oncogenic targets and combinatorial regimens that overcome resistance to single agents. © 2016 Massachusetts Medical Society.
