摘要：

In Systemic Sclerosis skeletal muscle may be involved. Several published series describe different involvement percentages, depending on the diagnostic criteria used. To date, there are no uniform criteria for the diagnosis of this entity and, the use of new methods, namely imunohistoquimic techniques, will be necessary to highlight the different types of muscle involvement ocurring in this disease. The present article intends to make a review about the diagnosis of the myopathy occuring in Systemic Sclerosis.
