摘要
We simulate the positive phase of an observed ionospheric storm. It is found that mainly winds, not neutral composition changes, are responsible for the disturbance effects. To fully explain the observations, negative height gradients and even shears in the wind field are required. (C) 1998 COSPAR. Published by Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
