摘要
Given the growing contribution of wine tourism to the world economy, this research aims to study in depth the determinants of the attractiveness of a wine tourism destination. A large literature review helps to design an integrative theoretical framework that combines the works on tourism destination attractiveness and wine tourism. The AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method is used to assess the relative importance of each of the determinants of wine tourism attractiveness. The main theoretical contribution of this research lies in the proposal of a conceptual framework that takes into account the systemic approach in tourism. On the managerial level, the results clarify the determinants that can encourage tourists to visit a wine tourism destination and therefore shape its attractiveness. The relative importance of each of these determinants is a decision -making tool for managers of a wine tourism destination.
