摘要：

This research tested the effects of human resource (HR) investment through human capital (HC) to agrotechnical firm's performance. Eleven hypotheses of relations among HR investment, HC and agrotechnical firm's performance are proposed in the article. The research used a sample of Chinese agrotechnical firms. A variance analysis indicated that HR investment is significantly related to higher level of HC in a firm, and HR investment is indirectly related to overall firm performance through firm-level HC.
