摘要
Dichlorophenoxy acetic acid herbicide was used to check its effect on biochemical characteristic of wheat (Triticum aestivium). It was sprayed on wheat on tillering stage and samples were collected on milking stage. The samples were used to estimate protein, sugar, phenolic compound and activity of catalase and ascorbate peroxidase. 0.03 M concentration showed high protein and sugar contents. 0.04 M showed highest activity of catalase and ascorbate peroxidase activity.
