摘要
It is well known that turning off or reducing lumen output of luminaires have substantial effects on energy savings. Several types of the automated lighting control systems that are expected to contribute for energy savings, such as motion sensor lighting, have been developed. However in actual situations, it has been reported that the luminaires were rarely turned off than expected because of the occupants' frequent coming and going. In this study, field measurements were conducted in an office space where several types of the personal light switch were introduced to identify how often the occupants switch on/off the luminaires during working hours and the effects on energy savings of the system. As results, nearly half of the electrical power use was reduced in average by the system. However, it was mainly due to the turned off luminaires in the area where the occupants were absent from the office, not for the occupants' frequent switching off the luminaires.
