Physicochemical and biological properties of aversectin C

摘要
A complex consisting of eight natural avermectins was isolated from the dry biomass of Streptomyces avermitilis VNIIS KhM-54. The identity of the compounds obtained to the previously described avermectins was confirmed by high-performance liquid chromatography, UV spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. The distinctive feature of this complex, termed aversectin C, is that it contains mainly group B avermectins (67.5%). Aversectin C was shown to have a broad range of insecticidal, acaricidal, and nematocidal activities. The complex is highly efficient against leaf miners and leaf-sucking pests, as well as many endo- and ectoparasites of agricultural animals. Aversectin C is rapidly degraded in the environment: its half-life in soil (hothouse conditions) acid water is 25-30 acid 72 h, respectively.
