摘要
To better understand the seismic dynamic response and post-failure behaviors of jointed rock slope is vital to evaluate scope of deposit and mitigate the damage of seismically induced landslides. Taking the advantage of solving the continuum-discontinuum problems, the explicit Numerical Manifold Method (NMM) is first extended to study seismically dynamic response of jointed rock slope. Then, four numerical examples are adopted to validate the ability of explicit NMM to solve dynamic response of continuum and discontinuum problems, respectively. All the simulation results have a good agreement with analytical solutions or reference results. Finally, the post-failure behavior of Donghekou landslide is simulated and the effect of seismic wave propagations through the rock base on dynamic response of landslide mass is investigated. The results show that compared with the conventional treatment of considering rock base as rigid, the earthquake amplifications as the waves propagate through a complicated topography can be correctly simulated by considering a flexible base and the final deposition topographies agrees better with the actual topography. Conclusively, the explicit NMM provides an alternative approach for analyzing dynamic response and post-failure behaviors of jointed rock slopes.
