摘要
The effect of gamma-ray irradiation on the mutation of Aspergillus oryzae was studied with special reference to color changes of colonies and the ability to produce enzymes. The increased spore size and deoxyribonucleic acid content was observed on the mutant strains of higher enzyme production at 2-5 times compared with parent strain. However, glucoamylase activities were not increased remarkably compared with α-amylase. Results suggested that higher doses of gamma-irradiation induces higher frequency of mutation compared with ultraviolet-irradiation.
