摘要
The technique of explosive sintering by preheating powder has outstanding features. In this research, the ultra-fine alpha -Al2O3 powder(0.4 mum) was preheated to 800 degreesC at first, then the technique of explosive sintering was used and the ultra-fine ceramic whose density was more than 98% of its theoretical density was obtained. The influence of the cooling rate on the microstructure of ceramic was analysed by SEM and XRD.
