Self tuning fuzzy logic current control for high performance induction motor drives

摘要
This paper investigates the effectiveness of the Fuzzy Logic (FL) approach in the current control loop of induction motor drives based on Field Oriented Control (FOC) and proposes a self-tuned FL current controller in synchronous dq reference frame. The proposed off-line tuning process minimizes a cost function which fakes into account the sum of current error squares on both d and q axis. To obtain a faster tuning, the steps sizes of controllers parameters are automatically adjusted. The experimental results show better performance for the optimal FL current controllers than the optimal PI current controllers as regards the settling time and the parameters detuning.
