摘要:
The Life Care Plan addresses both the medical and non-medical needs of a person sustaining a catastrophic injury along with the projected costs of services (Blackwell, Weed, & Powers, 1994). Long-term vocational planning is one of the needed non-medical services that is usually part of the rehabilitation process for persons sustaining a catastrophic injury. The purpose of this article is to examine the role of vocational evaluation in Life Care Planning. Specific vocational factors to be considered in long-term vocational planning are also reviewed.
