摘要
Thinking Education as a practice of freedom motivates the writing of this text. The proposal of a liberating pedagogy is articulated through the approximations of the writings, practices and experiences of educators Paulo Freire and bell hooks as a field of knowledge and possibility for the teaching praxis. The theoretical contributions of Freire and hooks allow us to think about education from a perspective of class, race and gender in the sense of awareness and, at the same time, construction of subjectivity and language of a diversity previously disregarded by the knowledge economy. We consider that the pedagogical action is also political and by appropriating the dialogue woven between Paulo Freire and bell hooks in order to rescue in us, educators, the commitment to confront our pedagogical practices, we waged a struggle of fundamental importance which is to distance ourselves from the field education of neoliberal ideology.
