摘要
Field experiments provide a useful way to address a number of important issues in environmental and resource economics. This article provides a review of studies that have used field experiments to inform (1) benefit-cost analysis and (2) efforts to promote resource conservation. In these areas, scholars have used field experiments to test existing theories, inform the development of new theories, and guide policymakers. After summarizing these contributions, we discuss new directions for the use of field experiments in environmental and resource economics. © The Author 2016.
