摘要
A simple room-temperature mineralization method has been developed to synthesize SrWO4 micro/nanostructures with diverse morphologies, including nanoparticle, dumbbell, shuttle, sphere, spherical flower, bundle of straw, and dendrite. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, UV-vis absorption, and Raman spectroscopy. The influence of pH on the size and morphology of the as-obtained products was investigated in detail. Taking the synthesized SrWO4 spheres as an example, we also investigated the photocatalytic properties of as-synthesized products for photo-catalytically splitting water into H-2 and O-2 under UV light irradiation.
