摘要
This paper presents a predictive control algorithm implemented in current source rectifier (CSR) supplied from permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) in wind energy conversion system (WECS). The CSR is controlled through the input voltage, following the duality with voltage source converters (VSC) where the predictive control is applied to the input current. The proposed algorithm predicts the input terminal voltages (includes the input filter capacitors), ensuring near-sinusoidal generator currents without the need of cascaded control loops, coordinate transformations and modulation schemes found in classic solutions. Since this algorithm is intended for high power WECS, it takes into account the structure of the rectifier consisting of six GTO thyristors. Simulation results show a preliminary validation of the proposed control scheme.
