摘要
Staff trainings were conducted at a Federally Qualified Health Center to increase rates of tobacco use diagnosis and medication assisted treatment among patients with comorbid conditions. Post-training surveys indicate that 98% of staff affirmed the importance of treating the whole person but only 44% believed patients are interested in quitting. Rates of tobacco use diagnosis increased after training and returned to baseline. Results suggest clinicians will benefit from sustained trainings and electronic health records prompts to support best practices.
