摘要
Novel carborane-containing phosphites were synthesized. The efficiency of the ligands was tested in the Rh-catalyzed hydroformylation of styrene, hept-1-ene, and oct-1-ene in super-critical carbon dioxide (scCO(2)) and toluene. The use of scCO(2) as the reaction medium allows one to attain higher conversions and regioselectivities compared to toluene.
