摘要
Based on the analysis of the deformation field in an infinite isotropic elastic matrix with an embedded elliptic crack and subjected to far field loading condition of tensile stress and shear stress, the corresponding additional compliance tensor induced by an open microcrack in a representative volume element is derived. The description for the deformation of a RVE with randomly oriented microcracks is obtained by making use of the Taylor's approach and a proper probability density function. A micro-macro damage model for rocks and concrete under tensile and shear loadings based on the deformation of embedded elliptic crack is introduced.
