摘要
Uniform and aligned fibre have great potential in a biomedical application and tissue engineering as they can provide the desired characteristic. In general, a spinning machine is needed for fibre fabrication. Due to several limitations to establish a machine for fibre fabrication, hence, this research proposed a simple and straightforward centrifugal electrospinning (CES) machine development. The main component of this CES machine consists of a brushless DC motor driven by electronic speed controller and Arduino UNO as the main controller unit. Besides, a graphical user interface (GUI) was developed for a user to control the process of CES machine. By applying a low operating voltage at 5kV with slower rotational speed about 2000 rpm, the developed CES machine able to fabricate fibres in micro and nanoscales.
