摘要
This review considers the problem of evaluating muscle asymmetry and potential methods and means for such evaluation. The review is based on reports presented in the section Biomechanics and Problems of Correction and Treatment of the Musculoskeletal System of the XIVth International Scientific Conference on Physics and Radio Electronics in Medicine and Ecology (PhREME'2020). The importance of selecting different methods for processing electromyographic signals is emphasized. The results obtained using these methods form the basis for objective criteria for evaluating limb muscle asymmetry. Instruments used for the evaluation are addressed. These instruments can be used in accessory EMG devices to increase the magnitude of the EMG signal.
