Large-scale air separation - Compressor solutions for GTL plants

The power engineering and turbocompressor market is expanding continuously. According to information from McCoy Order Reports, current sales in this sector are running at 14 billion Euro with a further increase to 16 billion Euro by 2005 already forecast. One of the factors responsible for this growth is higher power consumption by industry as well as by private customers. Another significant factor is the trend toward building industrial-scale plants for natural gas liquefaction (Liquid Natural Gas, LNG) and natural gas conversion (Gas to Liquids, GTL), which require major investments.
