摘要
Medical advancements over the last centuries have improved the day-to-day life of people with diabetes, but there are still significant challenges that confront clinicians and patients. This paper imagines what diabetes treatment could look like one hundred years from now, in the year 2120. This glimpse into the future shows patients being treated with nanomedicine, artificial intelligence medical providers, advanced gene therapy, the transplant of artificially created organs, and much more. How might these technologies affect patients and improve their quality of life?
