摘要
The purpose of this study is to explain the business ecosystem and ecosystem of Big Data: how does it work and to what extent does it influence the industry. This paper contextualizes Big Data in terms of previous studies, the current business ecosystem, and J.F Moore's business ecosystem theory. The business ecosystem of big data has three key areas: the core business, extended businesses and entire business ecosystem. The core business includes data holders, service providers, service users and infrastructure providers. This analysis characterizes the relevant aspects of the Big Data ecosystem and their relation to the broader industry.
