摘要
The conventional subspace rotation based scheme for narrowband or wideband source direction finding applies only to an array with translational invariance structure. A generalized subspace rotation approach to direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation of wideband source signals is proposed in the paper by incorporating data alignment and determinant scanning. This method is applicable to an array without translational invariance structure, and requires no preliminary DOA estimation for subband data focusing. The performance of the proposed method in terms of resolution capability and DOA estimation accuracy has been evaluated by simulations, and compared with some existing subspace projection based and sparse representation based wideband DOA estimators. The applicability of the presented method to near-field wideband source localization has also been demonstrated.
