摘要：
intelligent automobiles must be able to respond to their internal state and to that of the driver and the environment. To succeed, these capabilities also must be inexpensive, unobtrusive, and robust. This article examines promising technologies for such sensing, focusing on the use of near-field RF measurements to determine the configuration of the occupants for applications such as controlling air-bag deployment.
